 **MARKETING AND SPONSORSHIP COORDINATOR**

Description: We are looking for a Full-time experienced PR, communications and sponsorship coordinator to effectively promote the Seeing Stars Foundation's various activities, programs and festivals. This is specialized promotional and public relations work involving coordinating, preparing and disseminating a variety of information to promote awareness of the Foundation’s upcoming events and programs, including special events, fundraisers, workshops, and seminars.

Responsibilities: The bulk of your day-to-day tasks will revolve around fundraising and solicit potential donors to support our operations and programs.  In addition, you will be involved with developing promotional materials, press releases and online marketing initiatives; along with establishing and maintaining contact with media representatives, conducting fundraising and sponsorship activities, and participating in the development of communication strategies. You’ll play a primary role in the public relations and marketing aspects of our branding, concept and mission.

Qualifications: At least a 4-yr Graduate Degree, from an accredited University, in marketing or communications or a related discipline; at least 3 years of experience working in fundraising with a proven track record (must be provided); Additional experience in the field of PR/marketing is a plus.

Salary: Base Salary + Bonus (if set fundraising goals are met)

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with Marketing Director to help disseminate information to websites and sports related online communities regarding events, fundraisers, workshops, and seminars.
• Assist in updating social media profiles and video accounts.
• Research new websites and blogs, published news about sports related concussions, social media networks.
• One-on-one communication with site members and handling support inquiries.
• Assisting with administrative duties and some aspects of event prodution and installation.

Qualifications:
• Strong interest and/or previous experience in online & social media marketing.
• Strong understanding of the digital space, including TV, Film, lifestyle, pop culture, entertainment, and sports websites, blogs, communities, and social networks.
• A self-starter who combines a high level of creativity with strong organization skills.
• Efficient problem solver who can work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Able to work in a team environment, handle multiple tasks and adapt to different situations.
